This Infrastructure Video was made for our Federal Legislators during COVID when Puget Sound Partnership Salmon Recovery Council was in Washington DC for Salmon Days on the Hill. What was even more exciting about being selected by PSP to represent the group was that they filmed two interviews at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. Edmonds’ beloved Rose Cantwell (RIP) and I were the original capital campaign co-chairs for the rebuild of the Edmonds Waterfront Center as I had been a Board Member of the Edmonds Senior Center since 2009. As Mayor, I will continue to pursue federal and state funding opportunities so that we can continue working on all our watersheds. Future generations will thank us as the environment has taken the backseat to development for a long time.

Here is the link which only details one federal bill. There are many other federal bills that can help us replace undersized culverts and work towards watershed restorations.
